QUASQUICENTENNIAL (125th Anniversary) OF MEASI

      Muslim Educational Association of           Southern India (MEASI) 1902-1926    The Mohammadan Educational Conference which used to meet annually in several important cities of the country,  conducted the 15 th annual conference at Cathedral Road, Teynampet, Madras on  27 th  December 1901. This was a momentous conference participated by the Elite Muslims of the era from all over India.   Several important resolutions were passed. The most important among them was   “ that the existing Madras Executive Committee of the Muhammadan Educational Conference be confirmed as the permanent Mohammadan Educational Association of Southern India (MEASI) acting as the Central Standing Committee and giving effect to the resolutions and recommendations adopted and made by it from time to time in so far as they concern the Madras Presidency.” In pursuance of this resolution, in January 1902, Mohammadan Educati...

             حراست علی خان – سات گڑھ کے ممتاز گورنر 26 جنوری 2026 کو، وانیمباڈی میں یومِ جمہوریہ کی تقریبات میں شرکت کے بعد میرے استاد ڈاکٹر ابوالفضل صاحب اور میرے دوست جناب کے احسان احمد صاحب نے پرنمبٹ اور سات گڑھ کے تاریخی مقامات کی سیر کا قصد کیا۔ ان کے اس دورے نے حراست خان، گورنرِ سات گڑھ، کے بارے میں جاننے کا شوق پیدا کیا اور انہوں نےمجھے یہ بھی مشورہ دیا کہ حراست خان پر ایک مختصر سوانح عمری تحریر کی جائے.                                    ۔  میں نےاپنی تصنیف “دی مینی نیمز آف میلویشارم” میں، جو میرے آبائی شہر میلویشارم کے ناموں پر ایک تحقیق ہے،  جس میں پہلے ہی حراست خان کا ذکر کر چکا ہوں، کیونکہ میلویشارم کا مشرقی حصہ سابقہ طور پر حراست پور کہلاتا تھا جو انہی.     کے نام پر تھا.                                            ...

  LIFE OF HIRASAT ALI KHAN- A PROMINENT                         GOVERNOR OF SATGARH  On 26th January 2026, after participating in the Republic Day celebrations at Vaniyambadi , my teacher Dr. Abul Fazal Sahib and my friend Janab K. Ehsan Ahmed Sahib proceeded to explore the historical sites of Pernambut and Satgadh .  Their visit, kindled an interest  to know about Hirasat Khan , the governor of Sathgadh. They also suggested that a brief biography of Hirasat Khan be written.
